A group of 14 coaches from the JSA have completed the BSUK Level 1 Softball coaching course and are now accredited coaches. BSUK course tutor Liz Knight said how much she enjoyed visiting Jersey to deliver this 2 day course. She found it very encouraging to meet such an enthusiastic group of people who it can be clearly seen are very passionate about their sport. She hopes to return to Jersey again in the not distant future even if it just for a holiday but with the hope of joining in a softball game or two.
The JSA President, Ali Wade, congratulated the new coaches on their success and hard work over the weekend adding having newly qualified coaches will only strengthen the game of softball within the Island.
