That's a Wrap on the CorefocusX Summer League 2026

The CorefocusX Summer League 2026 unfolded across two divisions with very different storylines: one defined by complete dominance from start to finish, the other by a tight race that stayed alive until the final weekend. As temperatures rose and the schedule intensified, teams pushed through a demanding summer to lock in their final standings.

Division Two Champions — Hamptonne Farm Base Invaders

Division Two belonged to Hamptonne Farm Base Invaders from the outset. Their season was marked by consistency, depth and a level of control that kept them well ahead of the chasing pack. By the penultimate weekend, their lead had grown so substantial that their title win became inevitable, confirmed through a composed, confident finish that reflected the strength they’d shown all summer. With second place never truly within reach, Base Invaders closed out the season as runaway champions, earning a fully deserved promotion to Division One for 2027.

Division One Champions — Atom Pirates

One week later, Division One delivered a very different kind of finale. Atom Pirates entered the last Sunday of fixtures with the advantage, but the margin was slim, their closest rivals had pushed them throughout the season, keeping the title race alive until the final day. Pirates rose to the moment with the composure of champions, finishing strong to secure the top spot outright. Their season balanced power hitting with disciplined defence, but unlike Division Two, the gap at the top remained narrow, highlighting how competitive the division had become. Pirates ultimately claimed the trophy, but Division One’s battle for first place was very close.

The level of commitment, sportsmanship and enthusiasm across both divisions has been outstanding, and it’s been especially rewarding to see so many new players and young athletes integrate so confidently into the sport. Their energy, talent and willingness to learn have made a real impact on games throughout the summer, and they’ve contributed to the league in ways that will shape its future for years to come. I’m incredibly proud of what our community has achieved this season.” 

Season Close

With both champions confirmed, the remaining fixtures settled the final table positions across both divisions. Division Two teams fought for pride and placement behind the dominant leaders, while Division One sides pushed for momentum and strong finishes after a season defined by tight margins and high‑pressure matchups.

Both champions will accompany the island squad against their Guernsey counterparts on September 12th on home turf for the annual Muratti and Inter-Insulars. Be sure to come up, support, and cheer them on.
