Formed in 2003, from a mix of former 'Meerkats' and 'Cubs' players, as well as the odd 'Wildcats', what was immediately noticeable about the Niners was how quickly the squad gelled both on and off the pitch.

The Niners enjoyed a successful first season winning the 2nd Division title and Upton. 2004 saw the Niners go one step further becoming the first Jersey team to win the 1st Division Upton against their Guernsey counterparts. The following season saw them retain the Division 1 Upton, winning in Guernsey for the second year running. After finishing runners-up in 2006 and 2007, the Niners regained the Division 1 title in 2008.

For the 2009 season, the team is kindly sponsored by Dominion.
Already planning for the future, the Dominion Niners 'youth academy' is taking shape. Recent arrivals in the past couple of years include babies Alexander, Erin, Henry George, Tyler and Oliver. And there's two more on the way! Prospects are looking good for the 2027 season!
