As this years outdoor season starts on Sunday 11th May, its important that the format for this years league is finalised. This Wednesday we have a committee meeting and we'll be proposing three suggestions for this years league to the captains. Which ever format finds the most support is the format we will be adopting this year.
The formats suggested are:
Pool matches will decide the split between cup and plate, but no previous points awarded are carried forward. It becomes a winner takes all based upon the performance between the split teams.
When teams are split into cup and plate, points are carried forward but only when scored against teams that make it into the same group.
When teams are split into cup and plate, bonus points are awarded based upon the finishing position within the pool matches.
Please ensure a representative from each team can attend the meeting to ensure your favoured option is considered.
