My suggestion for next year would be the introduction of a male only league to supplement the existing co-ed leagues.
With just under two-thirds of the associations membership being male and the introduction of ISF five-&-five playing ratio for the co-ed league. I think it would be a great addition to the season and allow us guys to get as much game time as possible, which should help with the general skill levels for the co-ed league and Island based competitions.
I see no reason why the girls couldn’t do the same, however we would need to go on a recruitment drive to make it as viable as a male only league.
Guernsey also runs a male only league, so there is always the possibility of an uptons play off as well.
